Back to Life

So, what's the deal?

Anyone who has been lurking around these parts knows that this comic has been dead in the water for three years now.  Not only that, but parts of the website has completely disappeared from the internet, to include the forum (it's gone, not coming back).  That is rather annoying for many reason, but part of the reason for half of the website disappearing was my linking it to my personal webpage, which also no longer exists.  I just didn't have the extra funds to fund a website I really stopped using.

My goal, at present, is to make this website at least independent from any other outside sources, so if I do disappear off the face of the earth, you can enjoy what is here without the annoying factor of running into dead links.  Right now, I'm going to focus on getting the website working and most of the dead links fixed.  My next goal is to try to focus on finishing the squirrel world.  This might limit me to one comic a month, but you know what?  That's better than the current sporadic updates.

I'm also going to utilize social media, mostly Twitter and Facebook.  I might use instagram in the future.  I started to use these before the comic went into its current long standing hiatus, but that's going to be the two methods in which I announce it.  This blog is mostly for broad updates, but its use is going to be kept at a minimum.  We'll see how it goes.

If it gets to overwhelming, I might disappear again.  I will not be asking for donations or anything of the sort.  This is purely a labor of love on my part that I want to share with you.  First goal: no more dead links.  Second Goal: Finish the squirrel world.  Third Goal:  update at least once a month.

Let's see how I do, eh?

  1. I still check here from time to time. This was good work. I'd love to see it continue.

Take it slow, don't let it overwhelm you.

  3. It's nice to see the site stabilized, though I miss this comic. I hold out hope that it will be updated again one day. Funny enough, I found this comic a few days before the last update in 2011. For what it's worth, thanks for an entertaining read.

  4. Hi Averagedog here, I check back annually and I just wanted to let you know that you, Stickman and some of the other forumers did in fact make an impact in my life. The premise of your story is cool and interesting that resonated well with a highschool kid all those years ago.
